Student gym membership in Wrocław: what you get at RIO TOP GYM
The Student membership gives you unlimited entry 24/7 for a fixed monthly fee. See how much it costs, who can buy it and how you pay.

Your timetable changes every semester, and exam season has rules of its own. That’s why what a student needs most is a gym you can drop into at any time: in the morning before lectures, in a gap between classes or at night, during a break from revising for an exam.
For many people, regular training is the best way to clear their head after lectures and spend some time away from a screen. The hardest part usually isn’t starting, but keeping the rhythm when your timetable changes - which is why the gym should fit around you, not the other way round.
At RIO TOP GYM on Grabiszyńska 238/240, school and university students have their own membership - the Student membership. Here’s how much it costs, what it includes, who can buy it and how you pay for it.
How much it costs and what it includes
The Student membership costs 149 PLN a month. For that price you get:
- unlimited entry - train as often as you like,
- access around the clock, 7 days a week,
- all 5 zones: stretching, functional training, cardio, machines and free weights - see the equipment,
- changing rooms and showers, open 24/7.
The Student membership includes the same unlimited entry, 24 hours a day, as the other memberships - with no restrictions on hours or zones.
With the recurring, Student, Duo and monthly memberships we add a one-off joining fee of 39 PLN. You can compare the prices of all memberships in our price list.
Student membership vs other memberships
If you’re wondering which membership to choose, compare the main options:
- Student - 149 PLN a month, paid automatically every month, on showing a valid student or school ID,
- recurring membership - 169 PLN a month, the same 24/7 access,
- monthly pass - 199 PLN paid once, no contract or commitment, full access for 30 days,
- single entry - 39 PLN, when you just want to train once.
The monthly pass with no contract is handy if you’re only in Wrocław for the summer or on a short exchange.
Who can buy it
The membership is for school and university students. You buy it by showing a valid school or student ID at reception, so have it with you when you buy. According to § 1 of the club rules, it’s a membership for people who are not yet 26.
You can start training from the year you turn 15. Until you turn 18, you need written consent from a parent or legal guardian, submitted at reception. Read more about training for teenagers in our post on the gym from age 15.
Payments
You pay for the Student membership automatically every month from a registered payment card enabled for online payments. You don’t have to remember to renew your membership at reception. You pay the joining fee by card or cash at reception.
You buy the membership at reception during reception hours - that’s also where you collect the club card that opens the access gate. The contract terms, including its duration and notice period, are set out in the price list and the club rules (§ 5). Read them before you buy.
Training between classes and at night
Reception is open Mon-Fri 06:00-22:00, Sat-Sun 08:00-20:00, but with a membership you don’t have to fit around those hours. Outside them, you get in through the access gate by tapping your club card - at 6:00 before classes, in a gap between lectures or at 23:00 after studying.
The club card is personal and lets one person through, so you can’t lend it to friends. The changing rooms and showers are also open 24/7, so you can go straight from the gym to your classes. An extra plus of late hours: at 22:30 or 6:00 in the morning, the wait for equipment is much shorter than between 17:00 and 20:00. Read more about entry outside reception hours on our 24/7 gym page.
How to plan your training during the semester
Instead of fixed times, set a number of workouts per week, for example two or three, and put them in your calendar like classes. When your timetable changes or exams are coming up, shorten your workout rather than skipping it altogether - a short visit also keeps the habit going.
Have a sports card?
If you have a MultiSport, Medicover Sport or FitProfit card, you can train with it at RIO TOP GYM during reception hours - you show your card every time you come in. The card covers all zones. To train at night with a sports card too, add a night pass for 89 PLN. You’ll find answers to the most common questions about sports cards in our FAQ.
